The Queen and Prince Philip came to Portsmouth on Thursday 30th April 2009.
The Royal visit went straight past Spinnaker College. Students and staff at Spinnaker College were very lucky to see both Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip from a remarkably close distance.
Students at Spinnaker College waved flags enthusiastically for the special occasion.
"I was learning English and I met a lot of people. The teacher is great. The atmosphere in this school is very friendly and nice."
