At Spinnaker College we specialise in helping students learn English. Our adult English classes, which are competitively priced, range from general and intensive English to business English, as well as EFL teacher training. Our IELTS courses will help you reach your required score as quickly as possible. All of our teachers are qualified, friendly and professional.

Spinnaker College, which is accredited by the British Council, is conveniently situated near the university of Portsmouth, in a fine Victorian building, just 12 minutes walk from the beach. Classrooms are spacious and well-equipped. Portsmouth is a typical, historic, English city, on the south coast of England. It is a young, lively city with a large student population and many interesting places to visit. It is also only 90 minutes from London and linked by ferry to both France and Spain.

Students are encouraged to “live the English lifestyle” by staying with a British family, although a variety of accommodation options are available. You will find the atmosphere here is warm and friendly and we offer a varied social programme, as well as weekend excursions.
