A Magical Night at the Cinema
In this film Harry Potter wants to kill his enemy, Lord Voldemort, by destroying parts of his soul that are enclosed in hidden objects called Horcruxs. To succeed in this challenge, Harry will be helped by his friends Ron and Hermione. Lord Voldemort wants to defeat Harry definitively too, and so he starts looking for the Deathly Hallows, some very powerful magic tools, including the most powerful wand in the world, given from Death to three magicians a long time ago.
I enjoyed it very much, so I can only tell you... Go and see it!

Fancy a laugh at the Wedgewood Rooms Comedy Night?
I went to the Comedy Club at the Wedgewood Rooms and it was a really great night out. The food was simple but fine and the club had a really nice atmosphere. There were three acts on the night, which were all very funny and great entertainment.
There is often a stigma attached to comedy clubs, where the audience gets picked on a lot by the act. All the acts at the Comedy Club concentrated on performing their routines and unless an audience member was disturbing the comedian (and the audience), they were left alone to enjoy the performance.
The last act was particularly good, and involved great music as well as top class comedy. The Wedgewood Rooms is a really good music and entertainment venue and I would strongly recommend it to anyone for a fun night out in Portsmouth.

Splendid Salisbury and Stonehenge
On the way we could enjoy learning history about Stonehenge and the city around it on the double-decker bus. I was amazed by the gigantic stones, one of which was taller than 7 metres; we spent an hour looking at them. Then we visited Salisbury Cathedral which was splendidly decorated. In the cathedral we had the opportunity to see a choir singing. After coming out of the cathedral we walked around Salisbury until the time the train left. When we arrived at Portsmouth Station it was much later than I expected, but I didn’t feel tired at all since the trip was so fun.

London Trip
We went to London last Saturday. It was a college trip, we went with Paul and Maimoona (our teachers). The first thing that we saw was the London Eye, then we crossed Westminster Bridge while we were looking at Big Ben. Also, we saw Westminster Abbey, Trafalgar Square and Buckingham Palace. At lunch time, some friends and I went to Covent Garden in order to see some funny street performances. Finally, we walked along the Thames and we saw London Bridge and Tower Bridge. I think that everybody should go to London - it was a fantastic day!

3 Great Films for the Summer
Continuing on from last month’s 3 great albums, this month, with the open air cinema back in Portsmouth, we recommend 3 great comedies for you to enjoy!
1. Some Like it Hot (1959) – 2 musicians (Jack Lemon and Tony Curtis) go into hiding dressed as women in an all girl band which includes Marilyn Monroe.
2. Back to the Future (1985) – A scientist (Dr Brown) unwittingly sends his friend (Marty McFly) back in time. Marty must find a way to get back to the future whilst helping his parents to fall in love in the past!
3. Toy Story 3 (2010) – The final film, in which Buzz, Woody and the rest must escape from day care to get back to Andy for one last play.
