What you will learn on a course of English for Academic Purposes in the UK
The Pre-Sessional English course will broaden your understanding and use of essential academic language. You will develop and practice your writing and listening skills: note-taking, summarizing and analysis. Guidance and assessment of compositions and academic assignment writing also form a key part of the curriculum.
The course will improve your ability to take part effectively in seminars and workshops, together with developing your presentation skills. Through the study and analysis of a wide range of texts and articles, students will be prepared for a comprehensive range of reading tasks.
The Pre-Sessional course on English for academic purposes in the UK is designed to help you improve your IELTS score and ensure that you obtain a more even range of scores over the four parts of the test.
