How to find us
Spinnaker College English Language School is in Guildhall Walk, right by the New Theatre Royal and in the heart of the university district. We are just off Guildhall Square, where you will find the Guildhall, civic offices and main library.
By Train
From Portsmouth and Southsea Train Station, we are just 2 minutes walk. Turn left out of the station and cross into the main square. We are on the other side of the square.
By Coach
From The Hard Interchange
We are 12-15 minutes walk from the main coach station, where you can catch National Express, Greyhound or Megabus coaches to London and other destinations such as Heathrow, Oxford, Southampton and Stoke-on-Trent.
This is also where Portsmouth Harbour station is located and there are direct services to London (90 minutes), Cardiff and Brighton. This is also where you can catch a passenger ferry to the Isle of Wight and Gosport.
By Bus
Local buses stop in Commercial Road, just a three minute walk from the college (turn left when exiting the college), or in Winston Churchill Avenue (turn right when exiting the college).
By Car
Portsmouth is just 90 minutes by car from London. You can get to the city centre on the M275, from the A3, A27 and M27. From the M275 follow the signs for the Southsea and Isle of Wight ferries. Next follow the signs for the Guildhall. Spinnaker College is located near the Guildhall, in the city centre.
By International Ferry
The Continental Ferry Port, in Wharf Road, where ferries come in from France and Spain, is a short taxi journey to the college (about 30 minutes walk).
