Insurance for International Students studying in the UK

Before you arrive in the UK, we strongly recommend that you take out insurance for your own financial and personal security.

You can take out your own insurance or take out the International Student Policy offered by Endsleigh Insurance Services Limited which has been specially designed for overseas students studying in the UK. The policy can cover short stays or long stay periods of study up to 12 months.

The International Student Policy covers:

Course fees - Your course fees will be reimbursed if you have to cut short or repeat your course due to accident or illness. Medical expenses - In the event of an accident or illness, any medical costs not covered by the National Health Service will be paid. The cost of bringing a relative to the UK to visit following a medical emergency will be paid. Legal expenses are covered. E.g. If you accidentally injure someone or damage their property.

NB It is advisable to take out student insurance at the time you book a course. You will then have insurance from the date you are covered if you have to cancel your course because of illness, serious accident, etc. depending on your insurance policy.
